Abstract: 

Sailors are a unique occupational group in terms of access to medical facilities in times of crisis, such as the COVID-19 epidemic. On the large or small vessels, sailors may spend a long time away from standard medical services. In addition, job restrictions, closed living space, and long distance from family members during longdistance voyages make it difficult for sailors to prevent and treat diseases that occur at sea compared to landlocked individuals. Therefore, due to the nature of their work and travel to different countries through water, sailors are exposed to potential risks of disease. Given the risk of sailors and the importance of disease prevention education in this group, Tele Education is a good opportunity to improve the knowledge of sailors in the field of infectious diseases such as COVID-19 and its prevention. This training can be provided using communication tools. Tele Education for sailors can be done in two dimensions: self-care training for the prevention of COVID-19, and specific self-care training for the prevention of common diseases. In this way, the sailors' knowledge and awareness will increase and their insights and attitudes in the field of prevention of infectious diseases will be enhanced, and also their performance in this field will be improved that lead to the health and well-being.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Tele-education is an effective strategy due to elimination of time and space limitation and establishment of an effective relationship with client. This study was carried out to determine the impact of a tele-education strategy via telephone and short message service on promoting self-care in patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods: This experimental study was carried out on patients with type 2 diabetes registered to the Urmia Diabetes Association. Sixty six patients were selected and randomly allocated into two intervention and control groups. Data were gathered using the Summary of Diabetes Self- Care Activities questionnaire. The education and telephone follow ups had given to the intervention group during 12 weeks. Data were analyzed using the Chi-squared test, paired t-test and independent t-test.Results: Findings of the study showed that self-care activity was increased in the intervention group after the education and telephone follow ups. After the intervention, the mean score of the self-care activities were 53.33±16.97 and 103.67±7.46 in the control and intervention groups, respectively (P<0.001). There were significant differences in the mean scores of the self-care behaviors in the areas of adherence to diet, physical activity, blood sugar self-monitoring, adherence to medication regimens, foot care and overall self-care in the intervention and the control groups (P<0.001).Conclusion: Telephone follows ups and tele-education by nurses had important effects on promoting self-care activities among patients with type 2 diabetes.

Abstract: 

The number of cases of the COVID-19, as well as its mortalities and financial loss, are increasing,therefore, preventing the disease has a crucial role in controlling COVID-19. Preventive measures like improving the individual's awareness level and promoting the preventive measures for personal protection can be considered as valuable strategies to prevention and control the COVID-19. In the current situation, regarding the outbreak of COVID-19, in person educational sessions for the family health ambassadors cannot be held like before. On the other hand, because of the current situations, ambassadors are not inclined to attend the central health centers as well. Therefore, the authors recommend “, Tele-education”,to educate and promote the awareness and preventive skill levels for personal protection of the family health ambassadors. Tele-education in family health ambassadors in the prevalence of Covid-19 outbreak could be classified into two groups: 1. Self-care to the health ambassadors. 2. Selfcare education to families through health ambassadors in terms of prevention and controlling Covid-19. Ultimately, as it has been conducted at home, Teleeducation paves the way for family health ambassadors to learn and practice the principles of protection against COVID-19 at home with more convenience and concentration, leading to decrease the exposure and getting COVID-19.

Abstract: 

Background: Communication technology development has provided easier and quicker services in various medical fields. One of the main applications of tele-communication is tele-education, which helps in remote education of students. This study was designed to compare impact of tele-education and regular education methods on anesthesiology residents. Methods and Materials: Anesthesiology residents participated in both tele-education and regular courses during a one-year period. Various related subjects were taught in tele conference and regular sessions. In each course, residents were assessed by pretest and posttest exams. Finally, satisfaction was evaluated regarding quality of sessions using questionnaires especially prepared for the purpose. Results: Mann-Whitney U test showed no statistically significant difference in pretest (p=0. 15) and posttest (p=0. 07) results of both courses, although this difference was notably in favor of tele-posttest results. The highest rate of satisfaction among residents was dedicated to "saving time" to get to tele conference classes. Moreover, 92. 59% of residents preferred to take part in tele conference classes. Conclusion: The study showed that tele-education and regular methods could be equally effective in the education of residents. Some advantages of tele-education for anesthesiology residents were high satisfaction of residents, time saving, and overcoming long distance. Tele-education could be regarded as an effective substitute for regular education of anesthesiology residents.

Abstract: 

Abstract Intuition is one of the characteristics of entrepreneurs and an important factor in the decision-making processes of entrepreneurs. In recent years, at the same time as the development of entrepreneurship as an interdisciplinary science, intuition and providing different definitions of it have not been noticed by researchers and researchers in this field, and many researches have not been written in this field. This is despite the fact that in other fields of humanities, especially management (with which entrepreneurship is closely related), basic sciences and even medical sciences, there is a suitable background and theoretical literature about this. On the other hand, it seems that the theoretical and epistemological foundations of this concept have not been researched as much as necessary in the few researches that have been conducted, and very little research has been done in this field. In this article, firstly, the definitions and researches about intuition are reviewed, and secondly, the little researches that have been done in entrepreneurship and its relationship with other sciences are discussed.

Abstract: 

Education is a continually developing activity, it shapes the way an individual develops their attitudes, thoughts and behavior. Education is not just about being literate but it is an overall development of the person in every aspect of their lives. A society's educational system can be greatly linked to its culture as the culture that one is in have an affect on the type of curriculum the institutions will develop in order to cater to every individual of that particular culture. Education moulds and shapes a society and it is influenced by the culture of the particular country or society. The educational system acts as a point of reference for the society's needs and demands. The principles that dominate this article is culture and education are interrelated and interconnected. Every educational paradigm is influenced by the culture of the society in which it operates. This essay underlines the extensive connection between culture and education. As a result, the goal of this essay is to depict these features from a Philosophical-Psychological Approach.

Abstract: 

Knowing the components of economic education provides the dynamic background of education in this field. The aim of the current research is to investigate the indicators and components of the economic education curriculum. The approach of the current research is qualitative and its method is research synthesis. The research community is all the articles (211 articles) that have been presented from 1390 to 1401 AD and from 2010 to 2022 AD regarding economic education in curricula. The sample of the research is 32 articles, which were selected based on thematic monitoring, theoretical data saturation, and purposefully. The research data were collected from the qualitative analysis of the studied articles. By analyzing the data, the dimensions of vitality in the curriculum of the elementary school in 4 factors and 55 categories including the dimension of individual factors (including indicators and components related to personality characteristics); The dimension of culture and economic ethics (economic fields in the society); The dimension of economic concepts and knowledge (indices in economic education) and the dimension of collective and communication concepts (communication and interaction indicators in education) were classified. Economic education is dependent on internal and external components in educational systems, which requires macro-planning in this field.
